The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) is an open-source application protocol that allows applications to access and authenticate specific user information across directory services.
By integrating the Yeastar P-Series Phone System with LDAP server, you can seamlessly sync contact details from the LDAP directory to the PBX Phonebook, simplifying contact management. This integration also enables automatic lookup and matching of caller information stored in the LDAP directory for incoming calls, instantly displaying the caller’s name instead of just a phone number.
With automatic updates, automatic call routing for different phonebooks, and other robust telephony features, you can enjoy a seamless database synchronization experience that enhances employee efficiency and customer service quality.

Caller ID to Contact Name: Automatically trigger a contact lookup in your LDAP database for incoming calls. Instantly display the caller’s name and automatically match the call to the appropriate destination based on the phonebook records. Quick Start Reference
Before you start, you need to have a Yeastar P-Series PBX (Enterprise Plan or higher) .
Not having a Yeastar P-Series PBX yet? Apply for a 30-day free trial here.
Access the LDAP configuration page: Log in to the PBX web portal > Contacts > Company Contacts and Synchronize Contacts.
Turn on the option Enable LDAP Integration, then complete the required settings.
