Installation

OpenLDAP is an open-source directory information service server (LDAP based) used for authorization, authentication, as well as user and service directories.

This integration allows you to pull users and organizational directory data directly from OpenLDAP to Yeastar Workplace, allowing you to automate user management, simplify employee directory updates, and maintain accurate staff records with ease.

Key Features

Map user data from OpenLDAP to Yeastar Workplace, including user email, first name, last name, mobile number, and department/group.

Customizable data synchronization range: all users stored in OpenLDAP or only users of specific groups or organizational units (OUs).

Customizable data synchronization frequency: daily or weekly at your specified time.

When adding a new user in OpenLDAP, automatically create a new user in Workplace and send the Yeastar Workplace welcome email for automatic onboarding.

Any user data update in OpenLDAP will be automatically synced to Yeatsar Workplace.

Last synchronization result display: know how many users and groups were synced successfully and how many syncs failed and the failure reasons.

Prerequisite

This integration requires Yeastar Workplace Pro Plan and your OpenLDAP version should be between 2.0 to 2.6.

Configure your network to make sure Yeastar Workplace and access your OpenLDAP server.

Quick Start Integration Guide

Fill in the required information in the Connect to Server and Account Verification sections, and click to connect Yeastar Workplace to your OpenLDAP server.

Select to set the synchronization rules and start.
