Key Discussion Points:
1 [2:44] Big increase in 2024, how did we make it?
Ramon [2:44]
What do we have to say about the year 2024?
Ramon [3:15]
First of all, this year is a big landmark for Yeastar to convert from physical PBX to virtual PBX.
Jason [03:30]
Especially in some market, we really push things forward for the P-Series Software & Cloud Edition.
Ramon [03:41]
All these subscription services, the cloud PBX, the software-based PBX, we all see a very huge increasement.
Ramon [04:05]
Well, the subscription-based service, we see at least double increasement.
Ramon [05:35]
And we have also published the omnichannel messaging solution.
Jason [05:45]
That’s another important update on the P-Series system. Not just for the P-Series PBX to be more precise. That’s even something important for the entire industry.
Ramon [05:57]
Because this is a brand new market. We have a few episodes talking about those. And I believe it’s one of the most important decisions made this year, I guess it’s the wisdom of the dragon that made us do this is, we have adopted concurrent call pricing for the software PBX.
Jason [06:36]
I think that’s actually a pretty smart strategy. Since we just mentioned, this year we really push it forward for the virtualized solution. If you really want to promote the software-based or cloud-based solution, then you really need to think about how to help your customers to get more profit easily. That’s the point.
Ramon [07:07]
People are not making that much calls these days. But call system is essential. So for our partners, CC-based pricing, it will be more suitable for this business mode. Because you can easily have a system of 100 or 200 extensions. But you probably only need like 5 concurrent calls. So instead of buying an expensive PBX of 200 extensions, you just find a software-based PBX with 5 concurrent calls for these 200 extensions. And if your businesses change, you can just upgrade the quantity of extensions without having to change the quantity of concurrent calls. The price does not change. But of course, if you want to increase the concurrent calls, you can also very easily do so.
Ramon [8:16]
And to be honest, the change of concurrent call business mode actually has played a very important role in our increasement.
2 [8:38] What are the features coming soon in 2025?
#1 Hotel Management Module
Ramon [08:38]
There are also couple of features that has been postponed to the year of snake.
Jason [08:50]
For example, let’s get started with the hotel module.
Jason [09:20]
To be very honest, I think this solution on the P-Series system is pretty awesome so far. We can use the P-Series system for more hospitality projects.
Ramon [09:52]
By the way, we already receive a lot of recommendations and suggestions for the future features for the hotel module. Do you have any interesting one?
Jason [10:03]
Sure. I just had a webinar a couple of days ago. Some of our partners are quite interested in this solution. And they just hope if we can put more advanced features in this solution. For example, what if I can add more details to manage my room cost? Like I said, the hotel module released in January is just the first edition and you can just try it first.
Ramon [10:38]
And also, just as some of our audiences mentioned in the comments of our previous episode about the hotel business, how about you just offer Linkus application as the terminal for the clients? So we don’t need analog phones, we just post the QR code and people just scan it to be linked to the phone system.
Jason [11:35]
I think technically it is not a problem. We can do it if we try to figure out more partnership. And also good news guys, we do have something in progress right now in our domestic market. Our sales teams are working together with a 5-star hotel.
#2 Auto-Dialer
Ramon [13:12]
And another feature which had already showcased in the Yeastar Day 2024, which is the Auto Dialer.
Ramon [13:33]
It’s in February. But once again, this is the first edition. I believe you guys will have a lot of suggestions to us. So, please let us know.
3 [14:44] What are the Yeastar’s goals for the 2025?
Ramon [14:44]
First of all, one of our goals is to help more customers with their transmission from TDM system to IP-based system. Because we’ve already seen the traditional TDM system back out of the market.
Jason [15:03]
All these traditional systems, they’re gonna quit the market. This is something absolutely you can see there.
Ramon [15:12]
If the benefits couldn’t cover their cost to run this product line, they will cancel. But it’s different for us because we have very good subscription-based plan.
Jason [15:38]
Easy to onboard.
Jason [17:42]
So this is the first part. The second one, obviously we’re gonna keep pushing our cloud business. The other point is we still have a big market for some other solutions to realize the migration.
Ramon [18:13]
Because as you guys probably find out that a lot of ITSPs and MSPs are devoting more and more into an all-around solution that include phone system. That include networking, security, and everything. So they will need an easy-to-manage and cloud-based system.
Jason [18:42]
Everything now is going to be integrated with each other. So it’s not supposed to be a phone system. It’s supposed to be something very dynamic and easy to handle.
Ramon [18:56]
You give them a phone service.
Jason [18:58]
That’s right. It’s a service and it’s also very easy to handle technically. It won’t take too much time for you to maintain the whole system and you can make money with it.
Ramon [19:08]
So Cloud PBX is surely going to grow very fast.
