Attended Transfer

Description

Transfer a call after notifying the desired party/extension, so the call is only routed to the third party if that third party answers the call. It is also called consult transfer.

Use Case

If you want to make sure someone is ready to take a transferred call or you need to explain something to the person you are transferring, you can perform an attended transfer.
